Smart and Green Energy Efficient LED Lamps Are Now Available at LightKulture.com

May 02, 2012. Sarasota, FL. LightKulture (web: lightkulture.com), a leading distributor of energy efficient, eco-friendly contemporary lighting, is proud to announce a new emphasis on Smart and Green LED lamps. Smart and Green products bring portability and style to lighting through LED technology, enhancing pool lighting, garden lighting and other lighting around the home and office.

“We are very pleased with the enthusiastic reception the products have gotten”, says Susan Inderbinen, President of LightKulture.com. “We imported samples that we tested in our own backyard. Even in the extreme Florida climate, neither strong sunlight, heavy rain or harsh pool chemicals altered the beauty or functionality of these color changing lights. The unique shapes add color and a bit of whimsy to any garden, courtyard or patio.”

Euroluce ’11

Euroluce
Saloni
Fiera Milano, Rho Italy

04.12-17.2011

Today in Milan subway cars are filled with the everyday commuters on their way to work, school, shopping or visiting family. The Tubes are the way that most inner city residences of Milan get around. In general the subway system seems efficient, clean , economical, and safe. With the Fair taking place in these day, the Tubes are jammed packed with even more people. The 40 minute ride to Rho goes by quickly. The people watching makes it interesting , the wide range of ages, ethnic backgrounds, languages spoken, and the individual sense of style , so different then what  I am used to seeing in my ordinary daily commute. The Fiera is the last train stop. As the doors open it becomes a mass exodus of smartly dressed men and women from the train to the entrance of the massive exhibition site.

Euroluce is the international Lighting Exhibition that happens every 2 years. The exhibition fills 4 large convention halls. Each building feels like the size of a football field with soaring ceilings. This exhibition is a small subset of the other 16 buildings on site.  There are several related industries offering their newest introductions at the fairgrounds;  I Saloni,  the International Home Furnishings Exhibition, Salone Ufficio Workspace Exhibition, and the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition. Combined with Euroluce,  the number of people in attendance rivals the body count in New York’s Time Square .

The Fair grounds itself is comprised of a series of uniquely shaped building in square, rectangular and ovular shaped buildings of glass and metal. The oval shaped building intrigue me the most. They are normally used for restaurants or information stands. Imagine a main corridor that separates the buildings on the north from those on the south. As you walk from east to west you can take the electric conveyor belt walkway, or can you walk unassisted.  A unique glass canopy,  covered walk way  connects the buildings. It is both functional  and mind blowing to look at.
